Plujs there is a great art show benefit Friday night as part of this month's First Friday at Van Arts Studios to support the South Dakota Survivor Task Force against domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking. The Weekend Eve Toast goes to Cinco De May and the Honorable Mention is from a private event the host was able to attend.

Premiere Playhouse Executive Director Robin Byrne is resigning at the end of this season. While he tells us about the decision to move back to England, he tells us about all the programming going one yet before he leaves...and leaves the door open for returning as a guest director. Actor Samantha Hendriks took 13 years off from acting to start a family. She's been a few productions the past year and is in the upcoming Olde Towne Dinner Theatre production of Caught In The Net. The Weekend Eve Toast goes to chance encounters while this week's Honorable Mention salutes a great local business.

This week it's a triple dip of Sioux Empire Arts & Entertainment. Thankfully actor Ezra Hunter had a spare hour as he's been in shows continually since the first of the year. It definitely was worth the extra effort to lineup musician Billy Lurken. Besides a great conversation about music, we even shred a marquee together once upon a time. Meanwhile musician Michael Sorenson makes his fourth appearance to talk about Six Feet Over, Duel Purpose and now his latest gig--musical accompanist with Improv Falls.
