Then Actor Macie Lynn takes on a real life role in My Name is Rachel Corrie for a Storytellers Anonymous production in Corson Saturday, July 23rd. The Weekend Eve Toast tips its hat to the immense amount of talent nominated at tonight's Sioux Falls Stage Awards. Honorable Mention gives kudos to some young ladies doing a lot of performing.

Then we talk with Kyle Murray and Brian Schipper from Mighty Corson Arts Players. MCAP's 40th Anniversary party is Saturday, July 16th. They giv e us the details. All the world is a stage...Thank You Shakespeare! Bare Bodkins Theatre brings you Shakespeare in Falls Park beginning tonight as they present The TEmpest. Artistic Director Jayne Gearhart Fitzsimmons tell us about performing in very Bard-like surroundings. Then Local singer/songwriter Mat D typically plays solo. But he's going to tell us all about the band he has set to play First Friday at 8th & Railroad. Weekend Eve Toast is about a lucky shake. Honorable Mention goes to starting the kids in theater early.

Vietnam veteran Dave Rowe of Sioux Falls was a dee-jay while stationed in Da Nang. Now he has recreated an hour of that show and presents around the region. He tells us about that as well as being a horn player in the El Riad Shrine's "Last Call" band. WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT IN SECOND CONVERSATION Then five local female comics will be on tour in late July playing some big time venues with ten shows in ten days. Jamie Tucker, Sarah King and Alisha Rayne of Prairie Madness talk about what's coming up for them. Ice and AC get the Weekend Eve Toast nod with how toasty it's supposed to be this weekend.
